Dr. Jenn's Personal Journey

For me, women's health is personal.

My passion for this work is professional, but it’s deeply personal, too.

I’ve navigated my own journey through women’s health concerns, endometriosis, infertility, IVF, pregnancy, an emergency C-section, postpartum recovery, and ultimately becoming a mom to my rainbow baby. I’ve experienced healthcare from both sides of the treatment table. I know what it’s like to have questions about your body, to search for answers, and to want someone to listen to the entire story instead of focusing on one symptom, one scan, or one diagnosis.

Additionally, seeing how much better my Nana did with physical therapy--and the relationship she built with her PT--ultimately shifted my path from pre-med to physical therapy . Since then, I've watched other family members navigate neurological and pelvic health conditions and experienced firsthand how much the right physical therapy can improve movement, confidence, independence, and quality of life. Those experiences have stayed with me and continue to shape the kind of clinician I want to be—someone who looks at the whole person, listens to what matters to them, and helps them keep doing the things that make their life theirs.

Why Salt + Light?

A practice built around service. The name Salt + Light is deeply meaningful to me and reflects my faith and my belief in serving others well. Service has been a thread throughout my life—from helping create the HOPE Clinic, to teaching and mentoring future physical therapists, to volunteering in our community—and it’s something I hope will continue to grow alongside this practice. Salt + Light Physio is my opportunity to bring those pieces together and create something that serves women in my community in a meaningful way.

Meet Dr. Jenn Miller, Women’s Health Physical Therapist

I believe women deserve a more intentional approach to healthcare. Salt + Light Physio was born from a desire to create a sanctuary where care is individualized, whole-person, and never rushed. It’s a space where you have the time to share your entire story, and where your personal goals serve as the ultimate compass for our work together.

My vision is for every woman to feel truly seen and heard. I want you to walk out of our clinic with a deeper understanding of your body, feeling empowered with the strength and confidence to move through life without limitation. Because at its core, pelvic health isn’t just about therapy—it’s about reclaiming the way you live your life.
